Cheerleading in the fall in Hartford has become a tradition over the years, which has been complete with loud cheers and tumbling passes year-in and year-out. Throughout its very successful history, countless young participants have crafted their cheerleading skills utilizing the programs that our organization has created with the youth of our community in mind. Cheerleading gives every participant an incredible opportunity to participate in a sport, learn basic routines and stunts and be educated in the sport by coaches and volunteers who have an extensive background having participated in the sport in our programs and beyond. After all, one of the very first things a cheerleader will learn is that cheerleading is a sport that requires precision and solid technical skills.
When you join our programs, please know that the athlete in your family will always be in good hands. In addition to the fun that each participant is bound to have, our young athletes are also taught about important life skills – like dedication, discipline, and hard work, which are among the most important qualities that athletes can use not only on the playing field, but off it, as well. Cheerleaders also have the opportunity to participate in a sport with their peers, receiving an incredible opportunity to create lasting friendships that will truly last them a lifetime.
This season promises to be another action-packed year full of galvanizing cheers, excitement, and fun for all our great Hartford families. With everything we mentioned above in mind, what are some other allures of participating in cheerleading? Cheerleaders receive a valuable opportunity to cheer in every game in which our flag and rocket football teams play in, as well as having the opportunity to cheer with the varsity cheerleaders for one half during the annual Hartford Homecoming game. We invite everyone to join us at the football field this year, and, if you have a child that is interested in being loud (while not getting in trouble) and is eager to participate in a sport this fall, look no further than our cheerleading program.
